I’m a 30-something gay female living in the high desert of the U.S. After a long, winding, confused road, I have found the love of my life and we own a house together and look forward to starting a family. In the meantime, I’ve been busy graduating from college and starting my new career as a nurse. It’s one of the hardest careers I believe, with the 12 hour shifts wreaking havoc on your legs and the number of patients assigned meaning none of them can ever get the care they need/want to be happy and so your ass is chewed out hourly. But it’s also the most rewarding careers, when one simple thank you can keep you smiling for days. And seeing someone emerge from serious injury or illness and regain their life is amazing.
My partner and I live with what all who know me call an insane number of pets. We call them surrogate children.
Currently there are five cats, three dogs, and one rabbit. Yes, there’s always chaos around here! But there’s also lots of love and laughs.
Other tidbits about me… I’m a die-hard liberal. I love to read, especially true-crime. And I have always wanted to have a large family with lots of children. My partner and I are currently seeing a fertility specialist in hopes of getting pregnant with our first child.
